Since 2004, Nectar Lounge has been Seattle’s largest indoor/outdoor music venue, and one of its most endeared. High Dive has been an institution in the Fremont neighborhood for Seattle’s up-and-coming music talent since 2005. Our goal is to bring all genres to our stages and all sorts of people together in our space. We bring national and local musicians spanning every genre to our stage, including Global music, Folk, Rock, Metal, Bluegrass, Reggae, Americana, Funk, Jam, Hip-hop, Latin, Electronic, Dance Parties and more.  Come be a part of Seattle’s music tradition.

SECURITY (Nectar + High Dive)

The key role in this position is to provide a safe environment for guests and staff alike as well as enforcing applicable liquor laws and policies on-premise. Hours and schedule will be dependent upon business needs. Duties include welcoming guests to our establishment, checking ID’s, alcohol awareness, securing points of access, observation and intervention through de-escalation tactics, ensuring employee safety and walking staff to cars at shift’s end, and refusing entry to intoxicated guests. BARBACK (Nectar + High Dive)

The key role in this position is to provide support to our bartenders.  Hours and schedule will be dependent upon business needs.  Duties include bussing, glass washing, restocking of product, and clean up. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds required.  Candidates need flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.  Anyone unable to work weekends will not be considered.

We are seeking a Marketing / Administrative Assistant to join Team Nectar + High Dive!

TIME COMMITMENT: Part-Time position, 37.5% FTE with the opportunity for growth. Provides some flexibility to work from home but also requires accountability to answer questions as needed outside of office hours. Must be able to attend roughly one concert per week.



This is a rare opportunity to enter the exciting world of marketing and operations at two well-established independent music venues! We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing / Administrative Assistant who will work directly with our Marketing Director and Talent Buyers to create engaging social media content, respond to customer inquiries, and manage the ticketing platform for events at Nectar + High Dive.

The Marketing / Administrative Assistant will learn about live venue operations including customer service, ticketing and social media management, and will work with the management team to ensure these things come together to produce successful events. They will work with the Talent Buyers to verify event details, build ticket listings and respond to customer inquiries. They will coordinate with the Marketing Director to create marketing communications and engaging social media content, plus engage with fans over the venues’ social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a fan of live music, demonstrate an understanding of brand-focused social media management and professional customer service voice and management. Experience with Mailchimp or other direct email marketing platforms, ticketing platform management, or photography is a huge plus.

Must have fantastic attention to detail, strong organization skills and the ability to meet goals and deadlines with little supervision. Must be able to respond to emails promptly and in a clear, professional and friendly way.
